Guys As stated when I joined this forum, it is not my intention to see what i can sell on this brilliant forum. The main reason for joining this forum is that I desparately want a CB400NC to replace the one I had a few years ago that got written off. I'm sure at some stage I will get lucky and someone offer me one, and I will pay your price! However, I thought I would offer any forum member any 250/400N overlay kit they require at a very reasonable cost of just £15 per kit, so if you want one then please let me know by way of a PM. As you're the experts on this subject, and have more wisdom than I do, can anyone see and problems and/or additional variants than the ones I have created as below. I can also make custom one-offs to suit your requirements, and have shown one for a CB400NA below too. Many thanks in advance, Will

Hi will, The rev counter on my 400na only goes to 10,800rpm with the 800 line being slightly thicker than the others, you can see what I mean in this pic is it possible for you to replicate this?

Nice work . You need to sort out the 250 model designations a bit , early ones being the N version with the 12k tacho and I belive all 400s had the 10 k redline and all 250s the 10200 ?

Okay I think I now have all the models covered, and more to the point, accurate as per your kind comments. Please, if you can see anything that needs adjusting then let me know. I now have a spare COMPLETE set of each gauges: CB250NA and CB400NA. However, as the needles are of the same design, I can make either CB250NA (green faces, choice of 3 tachos as shown below) or CB250NB (black faces) for the 100MPH set. I can also make either CB400NA (green faces) or CB400NB (black faces) for the 110MPH set. So, if anyone is after a decent complete clockset for their NA/NB then let me know soon as possible. the cost for the complete clockset with new faces fitted will be £35 + carriage. If not, they'll be going on eBay. Thanks, Will.

Are you selling them as DIY kits as well Will? Yes I am. To SD forum members just £17 per kit (includes £2 1st class recorded delivery posting). If you PM me with the kit number you need I'll give you my Paypal details. Regards Will.

Recieved the kits this morning Will, very very nice, top quality work. I hope I can do as good a job of fitting them as you have making them.

I have to say, that is a very original and classy request, if it is doable, would like to see the result.

Yes I thought so. This is kind of a crude mock up but it is what I'm seeking. I'd be looking at sending one of my rev counters to Will in the hope that he could also fit it. Then I could install the silver finished one at my leisure when the mood took me.....as a kind of upgrade (style enhancer). Hopefully he will respond soon.

I can, but that would also mean that the numbers and markers are in silver too. Basically I can't mix flat and metallic colours, so it's either all metallic or all flat. Is that okay? I take it it's a CB250NB. Regards Will photo album upload
