Hi Martin, the dream machine paintwork special you recently acquired, I also enquired about it on eBay, seemed a nice old guy who owned it, I hope you don’t have trouble with your heart (I’m sure he told you the same story.?) Anyhow welcome aboard.

Hi Kickstart - never owned a silver one, but I have ridden more than one, and in my experience, metallic red goes faster than the other colours.
Hi Carlthebandit - Yes, poor old fella dropped dead in his garden and then was revived by his neighbour doing CPR. Nice old chap, still has a Franny Barnett and a 250RS in his garage. Apparently, the bloke he bought the SD from was also in advanced years and declining health, having bought it as a "mid life crisis" purchase way back when it was new. I've actually bought a couple of other bikes that were originally bought by men of a certain age before being ridden occasionally then stuck safely away. You can get a real low mileage bargain provided they've been stored well.
