a few of u may have seen pics of 900 well here are a couple of his next job !! he has just pulled this SD out of his wifes uncles shed he is the only owner its been there since about 1987 well think and its done just over 2000 miles, if its ok I would like to follow his progress with lots of pics on the forum. he hopes to start beginning of feb!

Looks to have the early rounder rear footrests (albeit dangling down in the picture). 1978? will find out year, last tax disc is 87 it seems strange when things get put away and forgotten! mine was same with 3200 miles found small note book with logs of mileage of anything from 2 to 12 miles a year ,put away but not totally forgotten! he's nearly finished a500 four aswell will try get photo on monday

my 250 was the same 3600 miles, last tax ran out in early 1983, not on road again until 2016 after I restored it. Before After

that looks really smart mine came with newish silencers, the mudguard is from silvers I think, engine been cleaned a bit not rebuilt ,a pair of repro Honda mirrors and I did the shocks and down pipes last week ive just give it a good clean so basically its a 35 year old bike that looks quite nice I think! just going to use it this summer as is .Have swapped phone numbers with ian so hope will meet up with him for some ride outs.Then next winter do the frame and engine

Be nice to see the 500/4 pics. I used to have one 20 years ago & regretted selling it ever since. Probably why I can't seem to sell any of my bikes now!

yes ian will take some tomorrow. yours looked nice, yes should still be in your garage! that's why I wont sell my capri or for that matter my blade.will also dig out pictures of my uncle's gold 500 he brought brand new in 1972 when in the RAF and still has it now and lives in Newark
