You've all seen it by now. I had the bikes out today for a clean and a footer as they say here in Northern Ireland, so here's a snap of the Honda in daylight. I was in two minds to start replacing a few nuts and bolts but i don't want the bike to look like its got a cheesy probolt makeover. I decided that i'm going to ride her next year despite the low miles. Not a lot but a few miles here and there. You are a long time dead and as for garage ornamnents, meh. It will mean taking off the original tyres after 31 years and putting it through an MOT. I also don't have a V5C for the bike so that is currently in progress. The man i bought it from was unaware that you could in theory lose your original number but i've checked and its still available and i have an OC rep helping me get it sorted So here's to a few miles in 2017 on Bessie the wonder horse

I am getting a bit of internal corrosion on my exhausts which is disheartening. Theres plenty of life in them yet but they are starting to mark from the inside out. What is the closest to OEM looks ways that i can replace them with?
I can see a few on eBay which look pretty close

The Brituro exhausts are quite good, then paint the end rivets black.

lol cheers. They also have a similar look on the ends so quite possibly what i'll eventually go with
I was also looking at Dunstall but they seem to have a hexagon style outlet grid which is nice but wouldn't suit my bike

Get a pair of Dunstalls as well to piss the neighbours off..... My neighbour is a good friend, although the echo/rumble between the two houses is a sweet sweet sound Not sure they agree

The bodywork on that looks epic! I agree you should ride it - better worn out than rusted through!
