Guys, what a horrible week it has been for us all. Just starting to put this behind me now and will contribute more and more to this great site when I let the dust settle in my head. Just to say, I'm fully with you all the way. Soon, when we all get sorted, we can do a bit to promote the site. Have some ideas but we can discuss them another time. All the best FB

Yeah, don't be a stranger Nick, I know we've all had a gut full of Shane's antics, the malaise around the interim forum etc has given us all a bloody big headache, but all the prolific members and overwhelming knowledge of Superdreams is now here and we will get that message out there soon.
The vibe on this site is great, just like the early days of t'other site, but I imagine now there are tumble weeds blowing through the place. We all need time to rebuild our threads, upload our stuff and make this site the destination for Superdreamers..

Love it mate - this is so true.
Got so many ideas to help us do stuff when we've all climatised more.
Aware of possible prying eyes as well so all discussions can be in private if need be.
Let me know if that brown needs tweaking a bit, folks. May need to be more orange or yellow.

There's no rush mate, this will mature as time goes on. We have loads of stuff to upload and knowledge to share with others but it ain't a race, it'll take months to get to where we want to be so let's all chill and upload our stuff when the mood takes us, one things for sure we will get there... See ya soon.

I think the most knowledgeable of the breed are on here and I definitely don't include myself in that. But just look at some of the restorations some of the members have done on here. I won't mention names for fear of leaving someone out, as Mansell said it will take time to build it up but it will be worth it in the end. Initially I bought me Superdream NA to rob for parts for my Chopped project that had stalled for 20 odd years and then decided it was too good for that so thought I'll just tidy it up a bit. I then saw some of the bikes the boys on here had done and it inspired me to try and restore the bike to a good level. I know it won't be up to the standard of some of the bikes on here but hope it will be a tidy example. I'm not saying all this to massage anyone's ego either I think we've all had enough of that in the past, but I genuinely feel as Nick has pointed out the people on here are genuine enthusiasts with have a wealth of knowledge which is proven by the standard of machines they own. I didn't know a lot about Superdreams but now I find myself looking at pictures on ebay while tutting and thinking thats the wrong seat for that model, those decals don't look right, you would be proud Nick A couple of old cliches for you all which I think fit the bill - the cream always rises to the top, its about quality not quantity. Onwards and Upwards.

Sorry Steve I did'nt mean to give the impression I was putting myself down, believe me there is nobody that appreciates what an amazing fella I am more than me Seriously though I have always been one to bow to superior knowledge and although I have ridden bikes for many years, I always left the spannering to the professionals apart from the easy day to day stuff. I am looking forward to learning a lot as I go, through my own silly mistakes and also through taking advice from those who know more or have made the mistakes previously. I agree everyone has a contribution to make to the forum no matter how large or small and if there were not people out there who don't know how to do something there would be no need for those that do.
