What I like about my Hi Level ones on SBY is that they are totally unmarked - no BS markings or a manufacturer name. When I've had Brituro before they have their name and BS markings.
To an untrained eye, silencers on superdream that are totally unmarked fool some people into believing they are the real deal when fitted on the bike - especially when the rivets are touched in black.
Be warned (that with most pattern silencers) they very slightly fall short in length when compared to the real thing. Certainly no fitting issues experienced though.

Well I said Brituro but you never listen to me. Remind me tomorrow and I will send you a link to a mint pair of the real McCoy- you may be tempted..... He could of had a real McCoy RHS off me the other week......and now I've just spotted a LHS on fleabay that he would be very happy with I reckon......I mean with the 110% correct markings to match my right that he craved. Always the way, hey Dave?

He could have had 2 real McCoy RHS off you the other week I heard? Yes good point about the no markings- but I would think anyone who is going to lay under the bike looking for the tiny Brituro markings on the neck will already have clocked no 'kin big Honda stamps on the top. Brituro are about 15mm shorter than the originals, but the difference is aft of the mounting bolts so they still fit well. Are the Hi-Level the same? I wonder how they get around the no markings at all- not meant to sell them in UK without. The nerdy guy (lets call him Dave!) crawling under the bike also needs to bring a tape measure to see the difference.....

He could have had 2 real McCoy RHS off you the other week I heard? In the end no... I am unsure if you were furnished with the full story but the long and short of it was that I thought I did have a spare matching NOS pair to let go but when I received them from my parts 'partner' (lol) in Reading they were two rights. In the end, two rights sadly did not make a wrong, I mean right......oh now even I'm confuzzled. Re:Brituro - all the ones I have seen are stamped 'Brituro and BS markings' are very obvious from the top, no getting under the bike. I have been asked umpteen times if my Hi Level are the real thing (tempted to say yes to those not in the know but never have). Will measure the Hi Level and let you know - sounds about the same though.

I got the full story. I was mildly tempted myself as I have a good condition LH one I wanted a partner for. But although very nice its not good enough to pair with a brand new RH one and Dave turned his nerdy nose up at anything S/H or ED. He is becoming a tyrant! Thats the one I have on the 'Bay now.
Or alternatively I thought I had an NOS RH ED version I might have wanted to sell and get a proper UK one. But my ED is a LH one of course. And all the time going through the stock trying to keep an eye on Dave in the front office with my silencer stash.
My 2 sets of Brituro- one is the pair I took off GRT- only have the stamp in small letters on the underside of the neck. Just shows nothing should be taken for granted I suppose....

Re: The 'ED' edition.
Are you aware of any actual difference to UK? Or is it just the markings?
I once bought a genuine one from the states marked HM443K. (Not HM443/442).

I compared the ED with the UK and did not spot a single difference. Dimensionally the same even down to where the spotwelds are for the internal baffles. I think also within 10 grams of the same weight (LH 1.960kg) to be only manufacturing tolerance. Had to be just regulatory rules for each country. The ED countries in the parts book got everything else in the exhaust system the same except the silencers....
