Most people like to keep their bikes and/or cars low on mileage, I assume they consider it holds the bike/car residual value and I'm sure it does. However, if you use it often it runs better, a perfect example is my VT250f has approx 12k miles my CB650SC has approx 18K miles both bikes run okay, my CBR600F3 has just over 70K she fires up straight away and sounds and runs like an F1 car. Point is don't worry about the miles use the bloody bike
