And this is her service history... A standard A4 ring binder, and a large A4 ring binder absolutely chock-full of history - every single receipt, tax reminder, tax disc, MOT, service receipt etc all there - this lot weights nearly as much as the bike!!

I'd love to own one of these but sadly my budget won't ever stretch that far

I know what you mean Terry - this thing is 16yrs old, and cost me more than the one I bought brand-spanking new 12yrs ago! It is shocking the way the pricings are shooting up, I thought they'd level out when the W800 came out, but apparently the fuel injection and lack of kicker puts buyers off, which is pushing prices of the 650's up even higher... And never say never Tel - a bit of luck, and the right contacts, and you can get anything you want old bean

That quick ride this morning was like being reunited with an old friend - we've all got them, an owd mukka who we ain't seen for 20yrs, and then after the first pint, it's like they've never been away... That is how things went down with Eleanor (if you've seem "Gone in 60 Seconds", you'll get the reference) As much as I miss my SD, I am happy that my Elanor is back at long last... But my garage is now looking rediculously empty, and there is a potential CB550 on the cards to make it feel a bit more homely

I'd love to own one of these but sadly my budget won't ever stretch that far Just to add Terry - never, never underestimate what is in your own garage... The price of SD's is on the rise, I was inundated with calls when I sold mine. However, I still bleed Superdream, even though I've moved on. I am a true man's man, and I did honestly shed a tear when the delivery driver picked her up, which wasn't helped my our bambino shouting (her name is Jasmine, but she's 2yr and calls herself "masmin") "Masmin's bike, Masmin's bike, get off", and cried her eyes out... now that was heartbreaking But then she saw our new toy, and keeps saying "wow, Masmin s bike" over and over again!

Time for another polishing according to the bambino... She'll have polished all the paint off in a couple of weeks at this rate!

Cheers Steve, I'm happy with her A damn sight harder to kick over than my SD though, I don't know if it's the extra 250cc, or the fact that it's got a 360degree crank, but it'll keep me legs in shape I suppose

Cute..... (and the daughter). Nice to see you getting 'em involved from an early age, Chris.
