Stevie - you have nothing to worry abut. I love playing up to the anorak purist thing but (if they are done well) I can appreciate a bit of a café racer etc......
Please do not worry about upsetting us purists........because what makes a good forum community is diversity.
I really hope Gizzmo comes back and updates us soon as he was also big into this kind of caper.

And as opposed to young Gee.......I will always favour messing with a Dream over Superdream. Nice spin on it.

The rear light pod part of the seat unit gave me a massive headache to make with measurements and style, this was because as you can see the pod is cut from the seat unit as i have made it on a slide, underneath the pod their is a seat extension so i can have the option of a passenger if i want, it takes 5 minutes to convert it to a 2 seater, this is something i thought of myself and as i said it gave me a massive headache, by the way not obvious on the picture the colour is a three stage pearl white

Its always nice to Dream, but very seldom do we have a SuperDream. Just remember, from its ashes, it arose, and behold...it came from a Dream....mowwer fowwers.....or something like that. Same beginnings. Gee.

Looking good !! Do you have any pictures of it in 2-seater mode. That's the one thing that cafe racer builds usually miss out. I like the practicality of 2 seats.

I like the practicality of 2 seats. sorry i havent taken a picture of it in 2 seater mode yet, when it is finished i will make sure i take some pics, i have gone for the looks of a single seater but i wanted to carry the wife on the odd ride out so i came up with this idea, the 2 seater mode serves its purpose but hopefuly the single seater mode is more pleasing to the eye

Nick was the one i was most worried about, everything i have done can be undone so i suppose the old girl has just had a makeover and shed a bit of weight

I can appreciate a nice modified machine as I say.......as long as they are done nicely - by the looks of it, yours fits that bill. This example caught my attention last year - just look at the flowing lines:
