I have spent an hour or so this morning researching Brake Caliper Paint Rustoleum seems to be highly recommended but I cannot seem to find any one selling Black spray - plenty of red! Can find lots or brush on black but my skills with a paint brush is a little bit like Ian’s Skills with a metric spanner Can find K2 black caliper paint in a spray but little info on recommendations After doing my German 400 in ordinary paint on the master cylinder and it is blistering I want to use proper paint on SME as both the callipers and master cylinder need repainting Would be happy to get them powder coated cost wise but worried the heat when cured will distort the parts Look forward to the deluge of recommendations

Just used K2 bought off ebay. It dries well enough but is a little bit soft and chips easily. I have not assembled the calipers yet so I don't know how the paint stands up to brake fluid - the primary reason for using it!
I have used black gloss Rustoleum on other parts and it is readily available in Notts from Homebase and Wickes. The spray is a bit lumpy but it covers well enough. It does not like being clear coated. Dennis
