Is this the rubber thing you were after for the master cylinder Chris. This one looks ok, no splits or tears I'll put in the crate with the engine for Dave & bring it up when he's next in

Well another dry day in the NORTH of the island so did a few other little improvements Fitted a new correct side stand spring after removing the stand and clamping the pivot end together a bit as was leaning over far to much because of the play then replaced the Suzuki 12 mm calliper bolts for correct 14 mm Honda ones Found some nicer rear foot peg brackets as both originals were twisted and replaced Allen bolts in heat shields with old cross heads out of my old carbs This was the old spring

Some one in the past has painted the tank not only is the colour wrong but they have put side panel decal on the tank and lost one of the side panels while riding the bike so bought some replacements exhibit A below even keeping the patina of the bike these are crap so I tidyed them up a bit with Honda wings which should be on the tank and a gold pinstripe roughley where it should be I could not bend the tape around such a tight bend so staggered it instead all done after a good polish they are good enough till I decide if I want to paint it next summer then I took the SD out for a run and filled her to the brim with fuel and stay fresh for the winter then fired up the Capri and give her a good run then covered her up back in the garage ps don't mention the weather to Ian

Wanted to fill this empty space on the cx dave gave me a nos helmet holder he had removed the chrome catch from to fit in his original 400SD one so I stuck his slightly rust catch in and because he had ground of the retaining peg I had to improvise so figured out how the bits fitted back in and used a bit of rubber fuel pipe to hold everything in then screw on the nos back plate then fitted with two special bolts from silvers when the snap off they look a bit shinny so a bit of paint hides them then a nos clutch cable guide was next then a patern master cylinder lid seal to replace the saggy one that was on and when I did the oil when I got her the usual was missing i couldn't wait till next oil change so fitted that as well and with the oil filter sticking out the front only a table spoon of oil comes out

no Pete will be better but not new just fitting a few things that have been "lost " over the years I still need one more cable guide which u can get from cms but not paying nearly 20euros for carriage I got the last one from silvers usa shop the information decals on the rear muddy and swing arm and that's it as it should be I will need to sort out the paint though if the decals were in the correct place I could live with the paint but there not so the easiest colour to paint them it black because its just black all other colours have different colours inside the gold pinstripe on the tank so in the spring black it will be ps its already slow so doing it black will be ok
