thats certainly a nice one, as I said I was just going to make do with the fibreglass one that the bike had on it but as I'v accidentally acquired a genuine one I'll use the real thing its reasonably sound and wont take much more fettling now the majority of the paints off. more on this when the weather fairs up. Just a thought buster was looking for money back spent on blasting and powder coat

There is a lot of shite getting listed on Fleabay for Superdreams ( not saying what you bought is shite Buster ) 407 new items listing in one day this week a lot of new stuff overpriced and repetitively listed, parts in good honest decent condition reasonably priced seems over bikes are still surfacing from gardens, sheds and barns, many are incomplete, have been weather damaged or bastardised and generally all the sought after parts are missing or damaged beyond repair. ebay breaker types in their search for easy money buy these up. Unfortunately they have no option other than to buy up half decent bikes at higher prices for the more profitable sought after parts whilst increasing their stocks of the slower moving or unsellable items which they have to re-furbish to make them more sellable this is why prices have gone up and there are lots of re-listed items bring back the days when bikes were only broken when they were accident damaged. in summary, if you have a salvageable bike, whatever it is, hang on to it and get the bits you need when you see them. if you have a half decent bike that you have to move on, sell it to somebody you know or if possible be assured that it won't be broken up for parts.

There was a time when NOS genuine could be found cheaper than (or on a par with) used.....if you were smart.
Now people just take the p*ss with NOS genuine stuff.....why? I guess because they can.

Crazy prices. No wonder they have set there since 1981. They will still be there in 2081.
