Agreed looks very smart, well done Gaz I hope your happy 👌 Im happy (ish) some things arent too good , like the wheels , I wish I could have had them painted professionally , same with the forks and calipers The stripes have pissed me off that i had to cut them to make them go around the bends But like I say its ok and useable and done to a budget that was not going out and out stupid with the resto and cost If anyone comes across some good gold wheels , let me know

My wheels let mine down too Gaz only reason I have'nt done them yet is that it looks like a pain in the arse of a job

The decals look good in the pictures Gaz, and the bike looks great - well done! They do look ok , but i had to cut them so they could make the bend at the top/front of the tank , it just kept on kinking up I started with the side panel as there was the tail piece and the tank which had to match up to it I might even start again with the decals yet as they arent mega expensive to buy

Are we ever really finished with our resto’s? you’ll be fettling for a long time to come so relax and enjoy the fruits of you labours so far, the bike looks sweet but keep doing little bits and bobs to it over time and you’ll get it how you want it, great job, looks awesome..

Totally agree, my first restoration started 6 years ago and took about a year to complete, it was done on a tight budget (photo on completion 5 years ago) I have done 4 more since and currently on my 5th (5 in the waiting too 😬). The first one is in need of a second restoration now as time has taken some shine off it and it was never done to the standard it deserves imo. The mudguard was replaced with a genuine one about 3 years ago 👍
