Last week I bought a Honda Ignition Lock with Key in from Kempton Park - Lock was ceased solid but worth the risk at a £1 Soaked it in WD40 for a week no sign of movement so Off with the cover plate, adjustable spanner, rubber mallet to knock up and a few rotations off Then on with the dremel The other side Couple of taps with a screwdriver No Joy Some serious force And More dremelling, More Hammering And a bit of steel wool One issue bent the bottom of the shaft So I now know how to bet a barrel apart But seriously next step is to get SME barrel apart in one bit, I think I sussed how to do it, drill a pin out and I think the barrel will drop out with the key and swap the pins across so I have a Honda key for her...but that is another day Will update thread when I do it

Just removed the ignition lock from SME
I thought the last 3 digits of the number stamped on the lock was the key number
Out of interest I googled it found a key in the states but it looks completely different than the key I have
Am I correct on the 3 digits
Have mailed the seller as several of his keys look the same
