Well as usual great day out, at one point the temp rose to 4 deg C So the highlight Bikes (no SD in sight) Liked this especially since it had its original French Dealer plate And the shocks looked quite advanced for the day Other bikes This Yam was based on the FS1E but produced for the Jap Market in the 90s Good condition guy wanted £1100 More shortly

Did not purchase very muck, usual consumables, nuts and bolts, oil etc but the seller wanted £10 Bidding went Eh £10 I was thinking more like a couple of quid Counter £5 My response well £3 Counter £4 Response split the difference £3.50 agreed And it was more than I wanted to pay as I only wanted this bit for the German 400 Then routing through a box found this Lock completely ceased and key very grubby, looked as if it had been sitting in the damp for years Bought it as I loved the key £1.50 But the after cleaning up The lock is clamped in the Vice filled with WD40 Then 2 hours later bought this identical one for £1, no key but would give me a trial unit to putt the keyed one to bits to remove the barrell Final purchase just for the reflectors over priced at a £1

So here's the Question SME has only got reproduction keys Could I swap this barrel into SME, will it fit Key number is B followed by 2 numerals Side by side the Kempton and SME Key The Kempton key fits into SME lock but wont turn obviously and also depresses the lock to the apply steering lock position
